Though this event is not technically on the 14th, oftentimes Valentine’s celebrations get pushed to the weekend, so the New West Winter Craft Fair at River Market is the perfect place to pick out something for your valentine! This craft fair runs on February 16th from 11am-4pm, so there’s just enough time to sneak in some shopping before your Valentine’s dinner plans! Valentine’s Day isn’t always about the love for your sweetheart! It’s about all the people in your life you care about. Often, it’s a wonderful time to spend with your children and family! On Saturday, February 9th, take your whole bunch to Irving House for Victorian Valentine’s Day! There, they will learn about Valentine’s Day throughout history, and get the chance to make traditional fancy Valentine’s Day cards they can bring home! This is a fun family activity to show the love and learn something new. This event is by donation, and light refreshments will be served.

For a truly romantic dinner with your valentine, complete with a view of the water, the Boathouse Restaurant is a wonderful choice!
