Indigenous Medicine Making Workshop

Join Indigenous Elders and Knowledge Keepers in medicine making from an Indigenous health care practice and applied learning perspective. In this workshop, participants will learn how to create a moisturizing cream and an herbal salve that heals and moisturizes the skin.

You will be guided by holistic teachings from experienced practitioners Jeri Sparrow and Tonya Gomes. They bring a collective knowledge on the use of plants, their healing properties and provide space for participants to experience and learn what it’s like to make herbal skin products.

Cost per Workshop: $75 (includes registration and all supplies)
Venue: JIBC Aboriginal Gathering Place at the New Westminster Campus
