How Did They Cram 11 Boroughs into One Little Can?

How Did They Cram 11 Boroughs into One Little Can?

Food Living

New Westminster’s Steel & Oak Brewing Company takes license with the names of its many brews and this one’s no different.

Eleven Boroughs is an India Pale Ale and – for all you “beerophiles” out there – it’s hopped with Mosaic, Equanot, Simcoe and Citra for a bright, citrus aroma and a juicy, tropical-fruit flavour.

The name of the beer comes from the Eleven Boroughs of New Westminster … or at least what they feel are the eleven true neighbourhoods of The Royal City. They are:

  1. Queensborough
  2. Connaught Heights
  3. West End
  4. Brow of the Hill
  5. Uptown
  6. Downtown
  7. Glenbrook
  8. Queens Park
  9. Victory Heights
  10. Sapperton
  11. Quayside

So, the next time you’re in their borough of Quayside, drop in and check out what’s in store. It’s another way to EXPERIENCE New Westminster!
